"Lena has completed design works of varying sizes for us in both our properties, one in London and one in Kent. In all cases we have been completely satisfied with the service. Lena is a skilful and thoughtful interior designer and a strong project manager. When things look as though they may go off track – which they inevitably do due to events outside Lena’s direct control - she is quick to react, never panics and ensures that she holds suppliers and contractors to account for their actions. This provided us, as the client, with a great deal of comfort as she was always in control and on top of the situation.
In London, Lena completely redesigned our master bedroom and created a new walk-in wardrobe. At the same time she provided new sitting room furniture and undertook a full redecoration of the remainder of the apartment including a treatment of the wooden flooring and the introduction of new flooring in two bathrooms and the kitchen. The building contractors worked to a very high standard and in particular we were very impressed with the construction quality of the walk in wardrobes.
In Kent, the major refurbishment work was more or less competed by the time Lena came on board, so it was more about the supply of new furniture and the making of window treatments and so on. Lena has a very good range of suppliers and contractors and the quality of the curtains and other items was of a very high standard. Her buying power means that she can source very high quality goods at source, which offers great value for money.
In all interactions, Lena handled the contact with the various firms/contractors/suppliers with full confidence. We recommended Lena highly and we would not have any issue whatsoever in contracting her services again in the future. "

“Lena has undertaken several projects, ranging from small to large, for my wife and me over the past eight years and in each case we have been completely satisfied. Lena is an excellent interior designer and project manager. She listens to her clients’ wishes and helps them finalise the most appropriate design. She never gets flustered and no problem is too large for her to solve. She takes the stress out of any design project. She manages the onsite contractors without fuss and ensures the project moves along to plan and budget. Whenever we met with Lena to discuss progress and/or take design decisions she was always reassuring and gave us a high degree of confidence that she had everything under control.
Lena first did work for us on our house in Wiltshire several years ago when she redesigned and furnished our master bedroom and dressing room. A couple of years later she oversaw the redesign of the dining room which involved the relocation of the entrance, the installation of a wooden floor and wall units and the supply of new furniture. In both cases she worked smoothly with local contractors and the London based suppliers of the furniture.
In 2015 we awarded Lena the project management of the complete refurbishment on our newly acquired three bedroom mews house in South Kensington. Save for the Carrara marble en-suite bathroom (which was too exotic to replace) the project involved the complete overhaul and updating the house. The ground floor was redesigned to knock through the lounge into kitchen, underfloor heating was installed, new radiators were put in, the windows were replaced throughout (including bi-fold doors on the second floor), the water and electrics were updated and there was a complete redecoration of the property. Lena oversaw the architectural design, the planning applications, and worked closely with an absolutely top class firm of builders (“Good Build”) which she managed. She selected the firm to install the kitchen and came up with an interior design that met with my wife’s ideas. All the interior furnishings were provided by Lena’s suppliers. It was a very large project and Lena handled the interaction with the various firms and contractors with ease and aplomb. On a large project that this there is lot to co-ordinate - architects, planning submissions, structural engineers, the principal building contractor, the kitchen provider and all of the furniture suppliers – and Lena handled this with ease.
I cannot recommend Lena highly enough and we are extremely happy with our redesigned London house. I would have no hesitation in using her again.”
